报告题目:Warped Product Finsler Metrics With Special Curvature Properties
摘要:Many Riemannian Einstein metrics are expressed in the warped product form and some of them are in spherically symmetric form. Finsler metrics are much more complicated than Riemannian. It is one of our tasks to construct Einstein Finsler metrics. One can compute the curvatures of Finsler metrics in the spherically symmetric form, that leads to many examples of Einstein Finsler metrics in such form. In this talk, I will discuss warped product (psudo-)Finsler metrics and show how to construct Einstein Finsler metrics in warped product form.

沈忠民,美国Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis 数学系教授,国际著名的微分几何专家。1990年获State University of New York at Stony Brook博士学位, 2009-2012年任 Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis 数学系主任,2005-2007任美国自然科学基金几何分析项目部主任。中科大数学系客座教授, 浙江大学数学系光标教授。已在 《Invent. Math.》、《J. Differential Geom.》、《Math. Ann.》、《Adv. Math.》、《Amer. J. Math.》、《Ann. Sci. cole Norm. Sup.》、《J. Reine Angew. Math.》、《J. London Math. Soc.》、《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》等期刊发表100多篇学术论文,出版研究专著6部,论文和专著被引用2300多次,是SCI期刊Differential Geometry and its Applications和Science China-Mathematics的编委。
